Toss: West Indies A
With conditions excellent for batting, West Indies A had no hesitation in batting first upon winning the toss.
All the West Indies batsmen took advantage of a flat pitch and limited attack, with Samuels and Arthurton both posting centuries.
With the others making starts, and Joseph and Brown making 50's, West Indies A were able to declare shortly before Lunch on Day 2 at 453/7.
Offspinner Venkataramana deserved credit for taking 3 wickets, but the other bowlers were disappointing, though it must be said it was a very flat pitch.
