India A made two changes to their XI, bringing back the fit again Ganguly as captain to replace out of form seamer Subroto Banerjee, and swapping offspinner Gopal Sharma for allrounder Kapoor.
Having tried all their other batting options, West Indies A gave an opportunity to Ragoonath, and welcomed back Chanderpaul from injury.
With lower order hitters Drakes, Gibson and Cummins preferred to other bowlers for their hitting ability, and Gray welcomed back from injury to spearhead a 4 man pace attack, West Indies probably fielded their strongest XI of the tour so far.
With India A also full strength, this will be a fascinating contest, and could prove higher scoring and closer than the previous two matches.
