An 81 run stand for the 5th wicket between a young Herschelle Gibbs and wicket keeper Richardson revived the innings.
Gibbs finished on an unbeaten 76*, looking an instant fit for the T20 format, as the Board XI posted an eventually healthy 150/5 off 20 overs.
In reply the Pakistan openers added 50 to put the chase on track, before a brilliant unbeaten hundred to Saeed Anwar swept them to an easy victory.
Apart from Fanie de Villiers, the home bowlers were powerless to stop the run flow, as Saeed quickly ended the match as a contest with a Man of the Match performance.
Victory by 8 wickets was Pakistan's 5th victory in six games on tour.
