ACB Chairman's XI slumped to 53/4 in reply to Pakistan A's 251, with seamer Naved Anjum claiming 3 wickets in an impressive spell.
The more experienced middle order duo of Darren Lehmann and Michael Bevan then 146 for the 5th wicket to put the home team on top.
Lehmann was unluckily out for 97, but Bevan carried on to 101*, before Veletta declared with 56 run 1st Innings lead.
Keeper Zoehrer made 38 to help complete the recovery.
Naved Anjum finished with 3-38 for Pakistan A, while Saqlain Mushtaq took a couple of wickets in a long spell.
