England A name a squad with plenty of Test experience for their short tour of Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka in 1991/2.
Youngsters Graeme Thorpe and John Crawley give the batting a talented look, while the side will be lead by archetypal county pro and former Test and Rebel Tour batsman Kim Barnett.
England A captain Kim Barnett toured Sri Lanka in 1985/6 with England B along with keeper Steven Rhodes, and the experience of that tour could prove invaluable.
Seamer Philip DeFreitas gets a lifeline, with a chance to bowl himself back into World Cup contention after missing the Test tour of New Zealand.
With the majority of the tour's matches to be played in Sri Lanka, the side features 3 specialist spinners, with support from allrounder Mike Watkinson's offspin, and part timer Kim Barnett's legspin..
The side features 5 frontline seamers, with left arm swing bowler Paul Taylor to provide the variety in what could otherwise have been a monotonous attack.
Overall it looks a strong squad, and against the weaker fringe Zimbabwean and Sri Lankan players results are expected to be good.

The vastly experienced Kim Barnett leads a talented England A side on tour in Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka in 1991/2
