Though the SLC XI openers put on a solid 43 for the opening wicket, all 10 wickets tumbled for 77 in a dramatic collapse to leave the home side all out for 120.
Fast bowler Winston Benjamin took 4-24 to scythe through the middle order, and leave West Indies requiring just 155 to win in 2 hours 45 minutes, weather permitting.
Opener Kurrupu was the only real resistance, before falling in the 40's for the 2nd time in the match.
It was an excellent allround bowling and fielding display by the West Indies, and a performance to which all the bowlers contributed.
With the pitch now Uneven, and the resulting uneven bounce the main reason behind the SLC XI collapse, it could be an interesting chase for the West Indies.
