India Masters XI v West Indies A - 3 day First Class match - Calcutta

Pitch: 33 - A hard baked track which should produce plenty of runs throughout the first four days. By the fifth, however, there is the chance that the surface will begin to break up and if this     happens the bowlers will have a real chance for the first time in the match.

Weather: 2 - Hot and sunny

Day 1 starting Pitch: 2 - Good batting wicket

The India Masters XI mainly features older former Test players still on the domestic circuit in 1991/2, but no longer in contention for the national team due to retirement or otherwise.
They are lead by great allrounder Kapil Dev, very much still a Test player, and sure to feature in the World Cup and other matches this season.
It his presence and the drawing power of some of the other players that ensure Eden Gardens will be packed, despite it only being a 3 day warmup game.
West Indies A have their last chance at practice before the Unofficial Test series v India A begins, naming 5 bowlers in an experiment probably not to feature in the more important games unless there are injuries.
