India A v West Indies A - 1st Unofficial 4 day Test 1991/2 - Calcutta
Pitch: 22 - A carefully prepared home track that will certainly favour the spinners later in the match. Batting should be relatively easy for the first couple of days but thereafter the spinners should find conditions increasingly in their favour. Not much in it for the quickies at any time.
Weather: 9 - Rain forecast
Day 1 starting pitch: 3 - Normal

India A named a fairly expected lineup, the one major surprise being former Test opener Raman Lamba recalled to the XI in place of middle order batsman Kambli.
Bearing in mind the pitch will favour spin at some point in the match, the West Indies A side included 2 specialist spinners.
West Indies A had some interesting decisions with their batting lineup, eventually deciding to reward those with the highest first class averages on tour with a chance in the 1st Test.
