West Indies A won the toss and elected to bat first despite knowing the Humid conditions would make the ball swing.
The pitch was however excellent, but despite this, West Indies A found themselves all out for 188 late on the first day.
Swing bowler Subroto Banerjee, in the best performance of the tour by an Indian seamer so far, ran through the batting to claim 6-52, clean bowling 5 batsmen with swinging deliveries.
Stuart Williams hit 4 sixes in making 45, but after he was out there was little resistance.
