India A v West Indies A - 2nd Unofficial 4 day Test 1991/2 - Match Preview

India A v West Indies A - 2nd Unofficial 4 day Test 1991/2 - Delhi

Pitch: 24 - Preparation of this strip was interrupted by a rain storm that flooded the ground just seven days ago. There has been no rain since and the pitch looks dry and easy paced, A question mark must hang over its wearing qualities from its time under water and the bowlers, especially the spinners, may come into their own later in the match. This pitch is a bit of an unknown quantity, difficult to read, so some skippers may hope they call incorrectly!

Weather: 3 - Sunny, some cloud about

Day 1 starting pitch: 2A - Dry and grassless - good for batting

India A made a host of changes to their team, swapping their opening pair, and bringing in a new pair of spinners.
Kuruvilla also gets a game in place of the struggling Prasad.
West Indies A also made changes, bringing in Drakes for legspinner Lewis, and bringing in Wallace and Holder for Stuart Williams and Dave Joseph.
It is not clear what effect the changes will have, though India appear the stronger side by virtue of their batting and spin attack.
