Indian Board of Control XI v West Indies A - 3 day First Class match 1991/2 - Madras

The West Indies started their 2nd innings 29 runs behind, and after falling for 188 in the 1st innings appeared in danger of defeat.
The pitch however was still Normal, and decent for batting, and the openers erased the deficit in their 1st decent opening stand for a while.
With Dave Joseph making an unbeaten 100*, West Indies A delayed their declaration til late on the 3rd day, condemning the match to a draw.
However with Arthurton making a hard hitting 76* not out at the other end, some of West Indies A's best batting on tour had kept the spectators entertained.
The eventual declaration left the Indian Board of Control XI time for 32 overs batting, in which Srikkanth and Manjrekar found some useful form ahead of a busy international season.
The match was Drawn, with Man of the Match going to home side seamer Subroto Banerjee for his superb swing bowling on the first day.
