West Indies A looked good in reply, reaching 59/1 close to the halfway stage, and with wickets in hand should have won it from that point.
Gopal Sharma 4-15 sparked a collapse, and Paris Mhambrey backed up his 4 wicket haul in the 50 over game with another 3 cheap wickets, and the visitors fell short.
Williams and Holder had batted well, but after them only some hitting from Drakes threatened.
