England A won the toss and elected to bat first, losing captain Barnett for a duck almost immediately.
Morris stuck around for a while, before Crawley took over.
Crawley went on to a magnficent unbeaten 240*, scoring more than half his side's eventual 462/9 declared.
A few of the others got starts, but Crawley made the most of some luck and was the star of the show.
The Strang brothers bowled well for the home side with their contrasting styles, but the attack generally struggled on a flat pitch.
