Blasting his way to 100 off 51 balls, the West Indies captain reached 123* by the end of their 20 overs with the total at 175/4.
SLC XI were given a great start by their openers as they brought up 50 inside the first 6 overs thanks to a flurry of boundaries from Kuruppu.
It didn't last, the accurate West Indies seam attack eventually wearing the batting down, and giving the visitors a well earned 31 run victory.
