Veteran of a number of International tours, batsman Asif Mujtaba was named captain, and will be hoping for a big tour to put his name in contention for a World Cup berth.
The squad looks particularly strong in spin bowling, with offspinners Saqlain Mushtaq and Arshad Khan supported by slow left armer Shakeel Ahmed snr.
Allrounders Naved Anjum and Manzoor Elahi lend the squad balance, while 4 specialist seamers make up the attack.
The batting lacks experience, with veteran Rizwan-uz-Zaman by far the most capped at International level.
It should be an interesting tour for the Pakistan A side, with the young Australian sides they are set to come up particularly strong in batting, but lacking a class bowler or two.
